Calpwr
Vision
Powerful Solutions
for Energy Independence
Calpwr was founded to help
the energy consumer take advantage of the opportunities
that are emerging as a result of the deregulation of retail electricity
and natural gas. The basic premise of the business plan is to offer
generation products, coupled with proper engineering applications, which
will affect a positive impact on the customers’ bottom line operational
costs, reliability and sustainability. This operating fundamental has
evolved through the practical experience of the founding principals,
who have been deeply involved in previous organizations aimed at the
distributed generation (DG) markets. This experience has lead to the
understanding that the generation customer cannot be properly addressed
or served by merely offering a product, devoid of site-specific applications
and engineering considerations. This “solutions-based” approach
to the DG marketplace is the key difference between Calpwr and most
of its competitors currently offering similar on-site generation products.
Reflecting the torrid pace of changes that have already occurred during
the deregulation of the energy sector, Calpwr is deeply involved in
efforts to assist customers that are facing today’s radical changes
in energy supply. In- house product & service offerings include:
The strategic business focus
is to serve the evolving energy marketplace with a multi-dimensional
product and services offering, firmly based around the organization’s
technical strengths and consulting experience, and supported by profitable
long and short term energy solutions. To bolster the present “in-house”
service offerings, Calpwr has also sought strategic alliances with key
industry organizations that enable complete “turnkey” service
offerings. While attention by large energy competitors has been on becoming
leaders in commodity marketing, much less emphasis and resources are
applied to the marketing of “energy-related” products and
services that provide users with cost effective generation solutions.
