The Calpwr Capstone Inlet Cooler cools the turbine inlet air which increases net electrical power output and overall fuel efficiency. The cooler enclosure is fabricated from 430 stainless steel with primary fittings constructed of PVC eliminating unsightly rust or corrosion. Its efficient design cools the inlet air to within 4% of ambient wet bulb temperature with a nominal inlet pressure drop of .03 ” of W.C.
